Jill Daniels is renowned for her excellent renditions of Vera Lynn favourites performed in authentic 1940’s vocal style in the same singing key as Dame Vera which happens to be Jill’s own natural singing key.
In her earlier career Jill’s similarity to Vera Lynn was well recognised and earned her the title “The Sweetheart of the Midlands”. Jill has continued to perform her very special tribute to Vera Lynn resulting in the ultimate accolade of performing in the presence of Dame Vera Lynn herself receiving her unreserved approval.
Jill comes from a family who all served in the Armed Forces and the emotions can be felt in every word. Jill’s performance is from the heart and today her popularity remains such that she is continually asked to perform at reunions, civic, and private events.
